روایت ہے مسند میں پڑھنے کے لائق
پڑھے اس کو ہر علم و دانش کا شائق
In the text of Musnad, a tale of worth,
For seekers keen on wisdom’s birth.
اسے بو امامہ بیاں کر رہے ہیں
نہاں رازِ ہستی عیاں کر رہے ہیں
Abu Umama is sharing the tale, in a veiled display,
Unveiling life’s secrets, in a mysterious array.
ملا جب نیا کپڑا حضرت عمرؓ کو
دعا مانگ کر، ہم سے کہنے لگے وہ:
As Umar clothed in raiment bright,
He prayed and said with hearts alight:
پیمبر کا اُسوہ جو مجھ کو ملا ہے
ہمیشہ عمل میں نے اُس پر کیا ہے
‘I’ve followed, in actions, the Prophet’s (PBUH) lore,
Emulated his teachings evermore.
پیمبر نے ہم سے یہ فرمایا اک دن
محبت سے، شفقت سے سمجھایا اک دن:
One day, the Prophet, in love’s sweet name,
Taught us this lesson, not for fame:
نیا کپڑا جب بھی پہننے لگو
تم تو تعریف اپنے خدا کی کرو تم
When in new attire, you’re to be clad,
Praise your God, be grateful, be glad.
کہو ذات حق ہے پرستش کے لائق
وہی سب سے افضل، وہی سب سے فائق
Acknowledge Him, worship, adore,
The most supreme, forevermore.
اُسی سے ہر اک چیز ہم مانگتے ہیں
اُسی کی عنایت سے تن ڈھانپتے ہیں
From Him, seek all, your needs, your grace,
By His mercy, we’re clothed, embrace.
پرانا لباس اپنا پھر تم اتارو
کسی فرد محتاج کو جا پکارو
Cast off old garments, aid the needy,
Fill life’s canvas, make it less greedy.
اُداسی کی تصویر میں رنگ بھر دو
پرانا لباس اُس کو خیرات کر دو
Offer your old attire, charity’s gift,
Colour the lonely, a soul to uplift.
اگر تم سدا اس روش پہ چلو گے
تو اپنی ترقی کا ساماں کرو گے
Should you walk this path, unwaveringly trod,
Your ascent to progress, you’ll truly applaud.
خدا کی پنہ تم کو حاصل رہے گی
قیامت کے دن کامیابی ملے گی
With God’s refuge, you’ll forever be blessed,
Success in the afterlife, upon your quest.
